At the Annual General Meeting of Syngenta AG held on April 28, 2015, the 934 shareholders representing 54.68% of the total shares approved all the motions proposed by the Board of Directors. The shareholders approved motions including a gross dividend of CHF 11.00 per share, which represents an increase of 10% over the previous year. All members of the Board of Directors were re-elected for a term of one year, as was Michel Demaré, the Chairman of the Board. The shareholders also approved the maximum total compensation of the Board of Directors (for the period from the 2015 to the 2016 AGM) and of the Executive Committee (for the 2015 business year), which were put to the vote for the first time.
